The sweet history of the Chocolate Works began in late 1902 when this 5-building complex, located in an area of the city known as “Confectioners Row,” was home to the world-famous Wilbur Chocolate Company. Each of the buildings had a unique architectural style. Some featured Doric columns. Others had detailed cornices and porthole windows. All five buildings share the desirable industrial ingredients you see today in high ceilings, solid brick construction, thick timber beams and oversized windows.
